Easter Weekend

This weekend one of my favorite bands from college played at the Nutty Brown Cafe, an outdoor music venue right down the road from mom and dads.  Since we haven't been there yet to see a show I thought this would be the perfect excuse.  In college we made the trek from San Marcos to Austin to see Mingo Fishtrap pretty much every Tuesday night.  They are a fun R&B/soul/big band-ish group.  We took Jack with us and he danced his butt off the whole show.

  

Sunday Jack was pretty excited about all his treats from the Easter Bunny.

We headed to church that morning.  He was a little louder than most people are during a church service, but luckily they have a cry room up on the balcony where you can still see and hear the service, but the room is sound proof to the congregation.  Jack loves to hold your hands and walk, so thats what we did pretty much the whole service.

After church we met Caroline and Holly and AJ and crew at Zilker Park.  Mom had a ridiculous spread of fried chicken, deviled eggs, lots of different salads and peanut butter and jelly bread dessert.  It was amazing!
