Labor Day Weekend

Saturday morning Jack had his first swim lesson at Emler. We wanted to get there early just in case we had to fill anything else out and kind of get Jack prepared, but he was pumped and ready to jump in ASAP. Maybe we got there a little too early.

Once we got over to his teacher he refused to get close and it took a little bit of coaxing to get him over to the edge. Mr. Ramsey lured him in with a pirate ship.

After that he was hooked and had a great time!

Cute Clive checking out all the action.

Practicing his kicks

At the end of each class they get to do a celebratory slide down into the pool.

That afternoon was his buddy Emmitt's third birthday party. As you can probably guess it was a fireman themed party. The boys had a blast with the water packs.

The birthday boy!

That evening we headed over to Belterra to hang out and watch some football.
I think Papa Doug has been on Pinterest...

Sunday morning we went to the downtown splash pad

Clive was acting a little shy, which is a first for him. Dad had to help him get his feet wet.

And then he was drenched in no time!

That night was the way extended portion of Jacob's birthday. One of his gifts was a music night out of his choice.
We hopped on the bus downtown.

Yummy dinner with the Paprocki's at Searsucker with a few "light and refreshing" drinks and pork belly.  Ohh lawd...pork belly is not healthy!

We met Rob, Kaliegh and Joe at the ACL Theater

Little Dragon

Our morning after Taco Deli feast!!
