Jacob has become quite the handyman these past few years! Between our new house and Big Delicious he has LOTS of projects on his to-do list. He just finished building a mantle and built-ins for our living room. He did an amazing job and I love them!
BEFORE
You can see in the Before pic there was nothing on either side. There was just a small mantle over the top of the fireplace. The fireplace itself was an off white color with these random brown bricks at the top that drove me NUTS! Once we painted the walls a pretty white, it looked funky having the bricks an off white color.
AFTER
The walls are a clean white, I painted the fireplace bricks white and Jake custom built the mantle so he could fit in his SONOS speaker. The built-ins he did farmhouse style so you can see the individual planks and white washed the paint.
We are still working on trying to get the built-ins styled just right, but we will figure it out!
The playroom is almost complete and will probably be our next finished room. waahoo!!
