At our last dental appointment they found a small cavity on one of his back teeth and wanted to fill it before it got any worse. They typically put kids this age all the way under, but since he did so good at his last visit they were willing to try a local.

He also got a little laughing gas and the procedure was under way! I think he was pretty comfortable...Jake said he started snoring at one point.
Dad said he did great and he was even up for donuts after! Although his lip was still pretty numb so Jake said he would pull down his bottom lip with his hand for each bite.
I picked him up and he was still a little swollen so we kept him home from school and he didn't complain at all!
