When we bought our house the porch, backyard and pool area were pretty gross. The deck was falling apart with loose boards, the pool was a funky shade of green and we had overgrown bushes all over the place!!
Jacob, Pappa Doug and Benjamin rebuilt the deck in a weekend and it looks fantastic!
We put up a playscape and trampoline in the yard for the boys and also had someone build us a new fence.
We had someone come and clean out the ivy around the pool deck. The back of our house got a ton of shade, so we wanted to clear out the trees to give us full pool sun so we can get it nice and warm so we can hopefully play in it sooner and to be able to use it longer. If it wasn't an oak tree it got the boot!
Last weekend Pops came down to help us with our yard. He did some SERIOUS work...our yard looks amazing! THANK YOU POPS! Jake had rock delivered via dump truck on Friday onto our driveway. Saturday and Sunday Jake and I moved 6 tons, literally 6 tons, of rock to the back. OMG it was a lot of rock!
We had the pool and tile refinished a few months ago since the concrete was starting to show through.
Jake built a bed for some low maintenance local plants as well as a pretty cedar wall to hide that ugly pool pump.
