We made it to Colorado! The 12 hour car ride surprisingly only took us about 13.5 hours.
Jack and DeeBo did great on our road trip. Here is our first rest stop (still in Texas) and we saw a giant yellow warning sign that said Watch Out For Rattlesnakes. That made for a quick pit stop.

Sadly I came down with a horrible version of the cold and spent my 1st day at grandmas with my head over a steaming pot of mentholatum. booo!!
Crocodile Dundee would be proud!

The three of us have taken a side trip to Denver for a couple of days. Besides going through a box of Kleenex a day everything is going great!
