We had a really fun time in Houston this weekend. Great ready for picture overload!!
Friday we headed to Sugar Land to see Jake's college roommate Mike, his wife Kelli and their new baby Mallory. They took us to a Sugar Land Skeeters baseball game and it was catered to kids for sure...the boys were all over the place!

I love this picture of the boys A) because it's adorable, and B) it looks like they are just the best of friends and never ever fight...yea right! It's not always roses, but when I get to read back on the blog years from now I will want to remember it this way! :)
We came back to their house and the boys crashed. Gave us some time to catch up with our friends.
Saturday we headed to our hotel downtown. Our room wasn't quite ready yet. They said it would be ready at 2:30, but the Astros game was at 3. Luckily the stadium was right across the street, but we all needed to shower. We took the boys to Discovery Green and let them play at the splash pad...we checked that off the list as the boys showering :)
Jake and I did some lightening quick showering and headed to meet the Kolariks at the game.
Jack and Jackie became quick besties!
It was a great game and the kids did fantastic! We made it the whole game!
After the game we walked to Frank's Pizza for some grub then off to bed
Sunday morning we walked down the street for coffee and so the boys could watch the metro trains
The Kolariks were sweet enough to host a brunch for the whole crew!
Monica brought Harris so Jack could meet her wolf
And JLo got a little extra love!
Before we headed back to Austin we stopped by Meredith and Spencers house to say hello and give the birthday boy Phillip some hugs!
They quickly turned into a SWAT team and were staking us out in the kitchen.
I guess if you can't beat um, join um?
Such a great weekend with fantastic friends! We are a lucky group!!
