It seemed like the LONGEST week ever waiting for this vacation to come. I had originally booked us an 8:30am flight, but Southwest changed our take off time to 6:30am...wowza! That 2 hours makes a huge difference when it comes to waking up in the morning. We were at the airport by 4:30am...luckily for us and everyone around us the boys were great!
I was the sucker who smushed in between the boys
We made it through customs without losing anyone or anything
The car service provided the kiddo seats which was nice not having to lug those around. Jack was pumped he finally got to ride in a booster seat like a big kid.
After our cold towels we had a welcome drink cheers!
Since we left so early we were at the resort by 9:45a, so our room wasn't quite ready. We still got our swimmin suits on and headed to the pool
Lunch then a little beach time
They have a separate kids club mini water park which is pretty fun!
The resort is pretty incredible! Its gorgeous, has a ton of places to eat and some type of bar around every corner. The boys stopped off for a smoothie at the juice bar.
We were finally able to check in to our room and got a nice little upgrade to a swim up suite.
We ordered the boys a room service dinner then took them to the game room while mom and dad had a nice sushi dinner alone. I think Clive made a friend.
Then ice cream and fiesta night in the plaza
We managed to pack a lot in on day one and everyones a bit wiped! Off to bed...there is more sun to be had tomorrow!
