Friday we had Meet The Teacher night at Jack's school. His teacher is sooo sweet and she seems like a pretty cool chick! After we visited with her and his Pre-K teacher they had an ice cream social in the cafeteria.
He was all checked into Kindergarten!
We then headed for dinner at Hop Doddy...
then to listen to live music and pet lots of dogs at Guero's!
We did zero sleep transitioning this week for the early alarm Monday morning and even brought the kids to a brewery on Sunday. The boys stuck strictly to water! However it didn't make the Monday morning wake up call any easier!
It didn't take him long to wake up and start getting pumped about his first day of Kindergarten...he was really excited!
Jack is a one word man so we didn't get a lot out of him after school, but sounds like he had a great time and has a lot of his Pre-K buddies in his class this year.
When dad got home they made post first day cookies together!
Longest 8 minutes of their lives!
We took a real shower for the first day of school...second day they get a pool shower. Apparently a chilly one!
