After New Mexico the 4 of us headed to CO to see grandma Edith. She was happy to see the boys!
Clive was happy to see grandma and this tractor!
I saw on Pinterest s'mores smushed between PB cookies instead of graham crackers and wanted to try it! We didn't get the chance in NM, so we built a mini bon fire at grandmas for s'mores.
Farmer hair don't care!
Now that the boys are older we get to do new and more adventurous things each year. We decided to take a trip to Lake Isbel up in the mountains for a boat ride, picnic and some fishing. We luckily picked the hottest day (96 degrees) to head up to the mountians where it was only 72.
Everyone tried their hand at fishing we we only caught one on our first cast and Jack reeled it in and released it!
We hiked around the lake a bit after our boat ride

This awesome dog was leaping off the dock like he was trying out for the Olympics! The owner let Jack toss the ball in but it bounced off the very end and sent the dog underwater. ha!
After we headed down the street to Bishops Castle which is a totally weird as hell place. The owner doesn't pay taxes and pretty much hates everyone...the place isn't sanctioned by anyone so it's like a death trap. You can go to the very top, but I was scared out of my mind and held onto my boys tight. I was the safety police for sure :) The boys thought it was a blast though!
Dinner with grandma Edith at Mill Stop Cafe. I'm tellin' ya Pueblo has some dang good food!
After dinner we took grandma home then went to the Mesa Drive In to see Ice Age
The next day we hit up the Pueblo Zoo. Its a cute little zoo that the boys always love coming to.

A must stop in Pueblo is Gray's Coors for a slopper. Its totally a dive bar that we bring our children too :) Luckily we brought Go Fish and the boys didn't seem to mind.
One night we drove up to Colorado Spings to catch a Sky Sox baseball game.
We always get good seats when taking the boys to baseball games to keep them interested and in their seats. However at a AAA game the ballpark is way smaller so we were right up in there. I wasn't totally prepared to block fly balls from grandma and the boys faces. We definitely had to be paying attention :)
The game got rainy so we headed up under cover for ice cream!
Before we left we had to stop at Musso's for some fresh produce to bring home!

Momma needed ONE more Italian Sausage sandwich before I left. They seriously are the best!!
