When I was in 8th grade our family had a foreign exchange student named Masako stay with us for a year. She was a sophomore so we were pretty close in age and became good friends. I hadn't seen her in 25 years! My parents visited her when they lived in China and I've met her parents and sister in recent visits to TX, so it was fun to have her family and sister in town for a few days.
