Thanksgiving 2017 Part 1: Denver

The boys wanted to see snow this year and we wanted to visit Grandma Edith so we made it happen! The four of us and Lucy took off after school and drove to Denver. When we got close they boys spotted snow on the ground and wanted some so Jake was nice and pulled off the highway to quickly ball them up some snow.

We settled in to our hotel and planned to go out for dinner, but being in a new place Lucy was not ok with us leaving her at the hotel. So we found a great alternative...a dog friendly brewery with games and food trucks.

Sunday we took the boys to another brewery for some pre game beers and lunch

After lunch we took Lucy to a day sitter we found on Rover. She was super sweet and since we planned to go to the Broncos game it was nice not to have to worry about her.

We dropped her off then headed to the trolly that took us over to the stadium

We had a great time at the game and the boys made it through the 3rd quarter. The sky was amazing! #nofilter

After the game we went to Casa Bonita which is this crazy restaurant in a shopping center that I haven't been to since I was a kid. They have a pool in the middle with shows, divers, loose gorillas and gun fights. The boys loved it!

 Our hotel for the weekend!

I had to work on Monday so Jacob took the boys to a candy factory to see how candy is made...I'm pretty sure the boys just wanted the free samples!

Playtime and lunch at another brewery...Denver has a LOT of breweries!

Next up Colorado Springs!
