Visit From Pops

Dad drove back from Colorado this week and made a stop in Dallas to see us on his way home to Austin. It's always fun to have visitors, but especially from my fam since we don't get down to Austin as much as we used to since we aren't planning a wedding. :) I think we went to Austin every weekend that year.

If you ever came to visit Jake and I in NYC then you've been to the Trinity Pub. It was one of our favorite pubs in the Upper East Side that we frequented A LOT in those cold winter months...which is pretty much 8 months out of the year. ha! There is this great painting up on the wall in Trinity Pub that I've always loved and took a picture of it before we moved back to TX hoping to one day blow it up and get it framed. But my awesome pops one upped that and painted it for us. He's so talented. We are so excited to have it all nice and framed in our place now. Brings back so many fun NYC memories!
