ACL Weekend

I am a bit behind on posting...whoops!  The weekend of October 11th our friend Wiese came in town to join us for ACL Music Festival.  We had sitters for the boys all weekend, so we had time to spend all day at the festival, which was awesome!  Thank you grandparents!!

We saw a ton of great bands including Depeche Mode, The Cure, HAIM, Kings of Leon, Kendrick Lamar, Queens of the Stone Age, Muse and more...

Wiese usually refuses to wear sunscreen and this weekend was no different. The people of Texas were very concerned about his skin and getting a sunburn so numerous women made sure he was properly lathered with SPF!

The weather Friday and Saturday evening was PERFECT!  Sadly, overnight Saturday we got a crazy rainstorm which flooded Zilker Park so they had to cancel the festival on Sunday. No Lionel Richie...boo!

BUT we were still kid free, so we took advantage and headed to The Tavern for some day drinking and football watching.
