The last leg of our trip was to Inverness. We hopped back in our cars and got there that afternoon. That evening Jacob, the boys and I went to a rooftop bar for pizza and cocktails with one of Jacob's old co-workers Ewan...they worked at Dewars together in NYC. Ewan has one of the best jobs in the world. He's an ambassador of something or other, but essentially teaches people how to drink scotch. One recent claim to fame was he had a tasting with David Beckham. We had a lot of fun with him and his wife and got in a quick photo courtesy of Jack.
The next day we took a boat ride on the Loch Ness in search of Nessy!

Jen's two friends Renea and Elaine met us in Inverness
When we got off the boat these little cuties were hanging out so I could get up close and personal.
Jen found us a cute little town nearby for fish n chips and gin cocktails
Later that afternoon some went back to rest and we decided to find a beach
Our last night we had a family dinner together which apparently I don't have any pictures of.
The next morning we were up and at'am to load up our cars, head back to the rental place and hop on our planes to London>Dallas>Austin
The boys did amazing on the long journey home. We literally were awake for 24 hours...we woke up 6am Scotland time and got home at 6am Scotland time. There was some of this ever so often, but overall the boys did amazing and have turned into great little travelers!
