This year Laura and Eli
flew in from LA to come to ACL...and Wiese flew in from NY!!
We didn't go till about 4pm on Friday to see a few bands, but mainly showed up to see Jay-Z. None of us really knew his new stuff, but when he sang the old school jams it was so much fun! He even played our wedding song :)
Saturday we slept in and some slept in some more...it was great! After some much needed kid free sleeping we met the Paprockis at a sports bar to watch the first half of the TX/OU game. Then the Paprockis snagged some tickets and we headed to ACL.
We made it in time to catch Ice Cube which was one of the most fun shows I've been to at ACL. Apparently I love my 90s rap :)

The silent disco was new this year at ACL. It started later in the evening. There were 3 DJs and everyone had their own headset and could chose by a switch which DJ they wanted to listen to. If you are watching this from the outside it looks so bizarre because you can't hear anything the DJ says or any music just people dancing around to nothing...its amazing to watch!!
This video exactly describes what goes on in the silent disco...random clapping, crazy dancing and lots and lots of sweating. It was SO MUCH FUN!! So much fun we left Red Hot Chili Peppers show to go back for more. ha!
That night we all went back to our place. Got massive amounts of Taco Cabana and giggled at all of the silent disco videos.
Sunday the Terry's went back to LA and Wiese, Jake and I went back to ACL to see Run the Jewels. I LOVE RTJ!! Again mainly because it sounds like the 90s rap I love most. ha! There are a lot of cuss words sooo earmuff the children!
