Spencer's 40th Birthday Surprise in Houston!

Meredith had devised a plan to surprise Spence for his 40th birthday…just a few weeks after his real b-day. He didn’t know the whole family was coming, but Friday night we all slowly showed up at their house. It was late by the time Jake and I got there so sleepy Spencer wasn’t expecting us at all.

On Saturday we had a fun day at the train show with Phillip and new baby Braden in tow. It's interesting to see the types of guys who run train shows. :| Then it was a perfect day for lunch outside at Discovery Green. That night we grilled fajitas at the house and DeeBo let everyone in on our baby surprise. Everyone was pretty confused by the "Future Big Brother" t-shirt until mom started to cry. Dad kept saying "It's too hot out here, why does he have a shirt on?!?" Hehe!

Sunday was another beautiful day. The boys and I played golf. Me and Jake went through about a million balls I think, we should have gotten a discount for donating so many to the course.

Phillip was pretty excited to take us all to his favorite sandwich shop. After golf we met up with them and was greeted at the door by Phillip screaming “Welcome to Firehouse Subs!!”
