Even though I haven't done any official mothering yet Jake thought I deserved a special day too. I guess I am growing a brain and all. We woke up Sunday morning and he took me out to the Gaylord Texan where I was pampered with an hour long pedicure at their spa...thank goodness since my toes have officially disappeared from sight and I am sure they needed it. Then we spent the rest of the afternoon at the resorts pool. It was sooo nice and relaxing. I love that it's pool weather already!
After that we headed to Janenes house to celebrate mothers day with the Pearson family. Everyone made amazing country dishes that were all reminiscent from their days spent with grandma on the farm. It was delish and we had such a great time with everyone!
