Luke (10 mo) and Jack...these guys look like they could be brothers. Or at least cousins.
This keg beer is going down like water...wait, this is just water?
We gave Jack a little lenience in how far he had to stand from the washer board.
That afternoon we headed to my parents to make all of our apple themed goodies and also some of grandma's famous jelly.
Slicing some Ida Red apples for the apple pie.
Jacob canning the 1st batch of jelly. Strawberry rhubarb...YUM!
There is a lot of serious stirring during the jelly making process and Jake kept making fun of my stirring stance.
Our finished product after 3 batches.
We STILL had some Rome apples left so Jennifer made us an apple dinner.
Pork Chops with Apples, Garlic Smashed Potatoes and Asparagus. It was really good! I pinned the recipe if anyone else has an abundance of apples and wants to try it.
Fort Time!
Grandma Judy made biscuits for breakfast Sunday morning so we could try out our jelly. Jack is loving it...he couldn't shove it in there fast enough!!
