Pearsons Go West: San Diego Week 3

Going to baseball games is one of my favorite things to do and Petco Park is one of my favorite stadiums...fish tacos and craft beer makes me happy!

Post cotton candy!

Lift your kid in the air like Lion King time. haha!

We had pretty good seats and the guy in front of us caught a promo baseball and gave it to Jack. His older son was out getting beers and wanted to make sure he got a picture to prove he caught it.

Virtual Home Run Derby at the team store
Jacob also dove into the middle of a couple of guys fighting to break it up on our way out...story for another time. You will have to ask Jake what happened!!

Our house was not only close to the beach but also walking distance to lots of restaurants and breweries. We enjoyed trying them all out.

Looks like Jack is baby bird feeing Lucille, but I think it was just a kiss

My absolute favorite fish taco place in OB that I found when I used to live here is South Beach Bar and Grill. Thursdays are fish taco night so we biked over for fish tacos and beers. Lucy even joined us a few times!

I also decided I wanted to learn to skateboard while in SD...why not?!?
We found this crazy place near Kid Ventures called Corvette Diner. The waitresses dressed up in 50s garb, it had glow in the dark rooms, a balloon guy walks around and they had an arcade in the back. Random, but the boys loved it! This is how we justified taking the boys to so many breweries is we evened it out with total kid places like this.

Think twice before ordering a hot dog!

OB had their annual chili cookoff and street fair...San Diego may be the only place where you can legit have a chili cookoff in the summer since it's 75 degrees out.
