Last Thursday we had our 28 week sonogram and the doc's confirmed Lonni's brain is cyst free!! Such a relief to hear that. Even though the doctors told us not to worry, it's pretty difficult to try and forget about something like that.
Also we found out some interesting, exciting, shocking and a wee bit frightening news. At 28 weeks baby is supposed to weigh around 2.25 lbs. Our very healthy baby weighed in at a whopping 3.5 lbs. Holy cow! They are going to continue to monitor Lonni's weight at each visit (which does mean more sonograms...yay). If our little dude or dudette keeps growing at this rate they will move the due date up quite a bit from the end of May to probably closer to May 15th. If there were prayers focused on Lonni's cyst please re-direct those prayers to me coming out of this experience in one piece. :)
